September 20th, 2007 Another Off-Season Dissapointment

After news had spread that the Miami Heat had finally done something good and signed Charlie Bell to an offer sheet, Heat fans had their hopes up that we could finally land a decent Point Guard. However, nothing has gone our way this year and once again, things were just not meant to be as the Milwaukee Bucks matched the offer and re-signed Charlie Bell.

This move would’ve meant a lot to the heat as it would make Jason Williams and his big expiring contract expendable, a trade asset that could possibly land another big piece in this team’s retooling, and would’ve brought in a better Point Guard who could handle the starting Point Guard position with ease. I guess we’ll have to wait and see what will happen next and who will be starting for the Miami Heat at the start of next season.
