| Heat Offer Wade Extension, Wade No Hurry To Sign | |
Now that extensions can be offered and signed and now that we all know that the salary cap for next season could take a huge hit, it’s time to see what the stars of that free agency class will do. Miami’s Dywane Wade has stated that’ll return to Miami if they are contending for a championship. Before that, he’s also said that he’ll stay if they make the right moves to bring in the right talent. So to be simple about it, he’ll stay if the team is in a position to win games. Miami hasn’t had any big or bold off-season transactions transpire. They are reportedly interested in Carlos Boozer and Allen Iverson, but as of right now, nothing has happened. He’s seen his friends LeBron James and Chris Bosh have huge deals go down to add talent to their roster, but nothing for the Heat. If there is anyone who will walk away next season from their team, it might be Wade. It won’t be because of the market, it’ll be because he says he’s feeling as good as he’s ever felt and it ceraintly showed last season as he led the entire NBA in scoring and if he’s reached his prime and it’s going to waste in Miami, why stay? Pat Riley and company have a lot to get done to entice Wade that Miami is the best place for him to be. Posted in Uncategorized | Comments Off
