Sources tell NBA.com that even though McGrady agreed�to be the backup to Tayshaun Prince and Rip Hamilton, the team is likely to trade away one of them before the season starts

The Miami Heat continued to fill out their roster Thursday with the signing of free agent guard Mike Miller. The long-range specialist signed a five-year contract with the Heat. While the team repeatedly states they don’t release contract parameters, the contract is reportedly worth $20 -25 million over five years.

Miami Heat basketball star Dwyane Wade announced via Twitter and YouTube yesterday (Wed. Jul 7) that he has made up his mind about his contract for the upcoming NBA basketball season.

If Dwyane Wade decides to re-sign with the Miami Heat , then Michael Beasley could end up getting traded this summer , according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. The team isn’t high on Beasley right now, anyway, and benched the youngster for the second half of the team’s final game against the Boston Celtics in its first-round playoff loss.
